The Fantastic Foods executive team consists of individuals with substantial experience in the food industry. They are focused on quality, consumer relations and ensuring Fantastic Foods is readily available in the places you like to shop.
Jim Rosen
Founder
Like almost every natural foods company, Fantastic Foods has its founder and humble beginnings. Jim Rosen started Fantastic Foods as a small restaurant in Kentfield, Calif., that was very well known for its Fantastic Falafels and Nature Burgers. Two years later, Jim, a soft-spoken philosopher, turned entrepreneur, launched his tiny restaurant into Fantastic Foods. A man that has always lived and worked his values, Jim is presently a business consultant and is kept updated from time to time on the Fantastic Foods business. Jim’s favorite Fantastic Foods is Tabouli.
John Foraker
President and Chief Executive Officer
John grew up in Chico, Calif., which is like growing up in the middle of a cornfield. Located in northern Sacramento Valley, Chico is known for its miles of corn and wheat fields, almond groves and rice paddies as well as its ever-popular Sierra Nevada ale. Truly beholding a homegrown and natural appearance, John’s relaxed nature seems a contradiction to his financial acumen and extensive management experience. John’s favorite Fantastic Foods is every single one of the Soup Cups!
Sarah Bird
Vice President, Marketing
Remember the slogan behind the Energizer Bunny ad campaign? That’s Sarah. Fueled by pure passion for Fantastic Foods, this woman just ‘keeps on going’. Raised Down East on the rugged coast of Maine, Sarah brings her “can do” attitude and remarkable resourcefulness to everything she does. Whether it’s developing a new promotion, revamping packaging or baking up a batch of cupcakes for her daughter’s classmates, Sarah is all smiles. Sarah’s favorite Fantastic Foods is Split Pea Vegetarian Soup Cup .
Mark Mortimer
Sr. Vice President, Sales
Mark makes sure the delicious line of Fantastic World Foods is on your grocery store shelves. Choosing a career in sales soon after graduating from UCLA, Mark started in the food industry at Pepsi Co. When he is not traveling to promote items such as Fantastic’s new Soup Cups, you will find him enjoying the amenities of the West Coast including swimming at the beach, snow skiing and even cheering on the Oakland A’s. Mark, a native Californian, currently lives in Southern California with his wife, Dana, and two children, Will and Julia. His favorite Fantastic Food is Falafel Mix.
