Natural Flavors

Natural Flavors generally refers to either a yeast extract or spice (pepper and other natural spices) that add layers of flavor to our products. The exact ingredients are proprietary to the company that produces them - however, we can assure you that Fantastic World Foods does not intentionally hide anything or use a different name to cover “unwanted” ingredients, such as MSG or animal products. We are dedicated as a company to a healthy, environmentally friendly vegetarian lifestyle.

Organic

Organic refers to methods of growing and processing foods that rely on the earth’s natural resources rather than synthetic fertilizers. Pests and weeds are managed using earth-friendly means such as beneficial insects and mechanical controls. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are not allowed. Textured Soy Protein

Textured Soy Protein (TSP) in a natural food made from textured soy flour and produced by running defatted soy flour through an extrusion cooker and compressing into granules. When dehydrated, the texture is similar to that of ground beef. It is rich in protein, extremely low in both fat and sodium, and a great source of fiber. Yeast Extract

Yeast Extract is naturally produced by growing, harvesting and concentrating yeast cells. The yeast self-digests (autolyzes), breaking down the cell walls, and creates a savory base used to formulate a multitude of different flavors.
