Hot, sour vegetarian soup

Fantastic World Foods reaches far to bring global flavors to market, and the company's new line of microwaveable, vegetarian soups hits its mark.

There are 16 varieties and all are natural or organic.

For some reason Asian foods seem to be the most difficult to replicate in packaged foods. Taste and texture fall short, especially when noodles are concerned. The flavor is pretty good, but Fantastic's Hot and Sour does a great job maintaining the texture of the shiitake mushrooms, onions and tofu.

Preparation is as easy as one, two, three. Just add water to the marked line of the cup the dried soup comes in and then microwave. Or fill with boiling hot water to the marked line, cover and let stand for six minutes.
