Fantastic Story Winner - September 2007
Sometimes empowerment really does work. I just received the news that Tofu Scrambler has been reintroduced because of a "stunning number of requests from devoted customers." I was one the people who wrote several emails urging return of the product.
As a Fantastic Foods customer since the introduction of the product line, my favorite product has always been Tofu Scrambler. But not for its use with Tofu.
The demise of the product was disheartening. I wrote to FF, and even suggested I would be willing to share some innovative marketing ideas for the product that could boost sales.
But while the company wrote me to explain that the product had been discontinued due to a lack of demand, there was no interest in hearing my ideas about reviving it and improving its sales potential
However, now, to celebrate, I shall reveal my idea and a "secret recipe." As a result of my low salt, low fat diet -- many years ago I discovered that Tofu Scrambler makes an incredible and healthy popcorn topping. Just use some spray-on light oil to enable Tofu Scrambler to stick to the popcorn, or drip on some olive oil, and voila! Tofu Scrambler's ingredients are the quintessential popcorn topping!
I use Bearito's No Salt/No Oil microwave popcorn. Adding Tofu Scrambler to that makes for a truly healthy treat.
Even my dog tastes the difference. He only likes the popcorn kernels that have Tofu Scrambler on them!
Tofu Scrambler is one of the best seasoning combinations around. We use it to flavor all sorts of dishes. It's great on corn-on-the-cob, salads, pasta, in dips . . . just use your imagination.
We (and the dog) feel that our life is complete again!
